Connect your bank via PSD2
A PSD2 connection lets Spendle update transactions and balance with a single click. The connection is provided by GoCardless, an Account Information Service Provider (AISP) registered with DNB.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”-
Open the Import tab and click Add bank.

Choose PSD2 connection.

Select your country and bank from the list.

Choose the transaction period you want to synchronise. The maximum number of days is determined by your bank.

Accept GoCardless’s terms and log in at your bank. After giving consent, transactions and balance are loaded into Spendle.
Validity period
Section titled “Validity period”- Connections made during the trial period expire at the end of the current month. After purchase you may therefore need to reconnect on the first day of the following month.
- Connections made with a purchased licence expire after approximately 180 days.
- You can revoke access at any time via your bank.
Updating transactions
Section titled “Updating transactions”A PSD2 connection does not update on its own. In the Import tab, click Update to fetch the latest transactions and balance from your bank. Optionally, this can happen automatically when Spendle opens — enable Sync PSD2 on open via Sync options.
Accounts within a connection
Section titled “Accounts within a connection”Click an existing connection in the Import tab to choose which accounts Spendle should synchronise. Accounts you exclude are no longer updated. In this screen you can also enter a longer start date once, to synchronise further back.
Removing a connection
Section titled “Removing a connection”Remove a connection via the bin icon to the right of the connection in the Import tab. GoCardless charges per connection per month. To prevent high costs, the number of connections you can create per month is capped at your account maximum plus 2.
Number of connections
Section titled “Number of connections”A Spendle annual licence includes 2 PSD2 connections. Additional connections can be purchased in the web app; the current price is listed on spendle.eu. When your licence renews, the number of connections resets to two; additional connections must be purchased again. See Extra PSD2 connections.
