Merge accounts

You cannot merge two Spendle accounts. You can move an administration to your other account. After that, your administrations are in one account.

Before you start

Syncing only works with a valid licence. Move the administration to the account that has a valid licence.
You need a computer, because you drag a file into Spendle.
You need the password of the administration.
The file name becomes the name of the administration in the other account.

Open the administration you want to move.
Export the administration. In the hamburger menu, choose [administration name] > Export to file. Spendle saves an .sdb file. This also works if the licence has expired.
Go to the other account. Open the hamburger menu and choose Open administration. Then choose the other account. See Switch between accounts.
Drag the .sdb file into Spendle while the other account is open. Enter the password of the administration.
Click Sync. Spendle asks: Store this administration to Spendle account: … Confirm this.
Choose Force upload your working version. Spendle first reports that the administration in your account has changed. In this case, the administration is not in the account yet. With this button, Spendle puts the administration in the account.

You switch between your administrations via the hamburger menu > Open administration.
The administration also stays in the old account. Do you want to remove it there? Then remove the old working file via the hamburger menu > Open administration. First check that the administration is in the new account.
