Start over
Do you want to start over? Create a new administration and then remove the old administration. Your Spendle account and your licence remain.
Before you begin
Section titled “Before you begin”- First remove the PSD2 connections of the old administration. A connection that stays in place can count towards the number of PSD2 connections of your account.
- An administration that you remove from your account cannot be restored by yourself. Do you want to keep the data? Then make a backup first (step 3).
How it works
Section titled “How it works”-
Open the administration that you want to replace.

Remove the PSD2 connections. Go to the Import tab. Click the trash icon on the right next to a connection. Do this for each connection. See Removing a connection.

Make a backup if you want. Open the hamburger menu and click the name of your administration. Then choose Export to file.

Create a new administration. In the hamburger menu, choose Open administration and then Create new administration. See Creating an administration.

Remove the old administration from your account. In the hamburger menu, choose Open administration and then Spendle account. Click the trash icon next to the old administration and confirm.

Remove the copy on this device if you want. Under Work files, click the trash icon next to the old administration.
Two trash icons
Section titled “Two trash icons”The Open administration screen has two lists with a trash icon:
- Spendle account: removes the administration from your account. Work files and backups on your device remain.
- Work files: removes only the copy on this device (the work file). The administration stays in your account. With Yes, remove including backups, the automatic backups on this device are removed as well.
