Salary month
With the Salary month you see how much of your salary you have spent. A salary month runs from the day your salary arrives to the day before in the next month. For example from 24 September up to and including 23 October.
Setting the start day
Section titled “Setting the start day”-
Open More > Settings.
-
Choose in Salary start day the day your salary arrives, for example 24. Spendle saves your choice right away.
Salary month in the graph
Section titled “Salary month in the graph”-
Go to Transactions and click Graph.
-
Click the period at the top and choose Salary month.
-
Look at the graph. You see your income, your expenses and the result: what is left of your income.
-
Click the arrows next to the period to go to the previous or next salary month.
Salary received early
Section titled “Salary received early”Does your salary arrive early once, for example on the 20th instead of the 24th? Then it falls in the previous salary month. Set the date of that transaction to the start day. See Edit transaction.
Start month bookyear
Section titled “Start month bookyear”Besides the start day, a start month bookyear can be set in More > Settings. The setting is empty by default; the period This bookyear is then not shown in the date picker.
After choosing a start month — for example August — the period This bookyear appears in the date picker. This period covers 12 months from the 1st of the start month, shown as Aug 25 - Jul 26. Use the arrows to browse to earlier or later bookyears.
