Install on PC

Spendle is a web app. It can be opened in a browser or installed as a standalone program on a PC or Mac. When installed, Spendle gets its own window, its own icon and also works offline.

Installing in Chrome or Microsoft Edge

Open www.spendle.com/pwa in Chrome or Edge.
Click the install button. A small icon with a computer and an arrow appears on the right side of the address bar. If it is not there, click the menu (three dots) and choose Apps > Install Spendle.
Confirm with Install. Spendle opens in a separate window and appears in your start menu.

Installing in Safari (Mac)

Open www.spendle.com/pwa in Safari.
Add Spendle to your Dock via the Safari menu. Depending on the Safari version, the option may have a slightly different name. Spendle then appears in your Dock as a standalone app.

Using without installing

Spendle can also be used without installing in any modern browser (Firefox, Chrome, Edge, Safari). Go to www.spendle.com/pwa and start. The only difference is the absence of a dedicated window and taskbar icon — all data and features are fully available.

Opening files with Spendle

After installation, Spendle appears in the Windows right-click menu for file types that Spendle can process: bank statements (.csv, .ssv, .tsv, .txt), administrations (.sdb) and receipts (.jpg, .jpeg, .png, .pdf).
