Create an account
A Spendle account is required for your licence, PSD2 bank connections, and to synchronise your administration between devices — PC, phone and tablet. Without synchronisation, your administration is stored only in the local browser storage (IndexedDB), which the browser may clear without warning.
Sign-in options
Section titled “Sign-in options”You can sign in and register with:
- Email address and password — works on web, Android and iOS.
- Sign in with Apple — works on web and iOS (not on Android).
- Sign in with Google — works on web, Android and iOS.
With Apple or Google you don’t need to remember a separate password.
How it works
Section titled “How it works”-
Open Spendle and click the hamburger menu (three lines at the top left).

Choose Spendle account. The sign-in and registration screens appear.

Click Register. In the mobile apps, Sign in with Apple or Sign in with Google can be chosen instead.

Fill in your details. For email: enter an email address and password. For Apple or Google: grant permission in the external window.
What is an account used for?
Section titled “What is an account used for?”- Online backup — your administration is stored encrypted in the Spendle cloud.
- Synchronisation — changes on your phone appear automatically on your PC.
- Licence — your Spendle licence is linked to your account.
Turning off synchronisation
Section titled “Turning off synchronisation”Cloud synchronisation can be turned off, but only do this if you take care of backups yourself. In that case, regularly create an export via hamburger menu > Administration > Export to file — without synchronisation, your data is stored only in the IndexedDB storage of your browser, which can be cleared without warning.
