Spendle October updates
In version 2.56.1 of Spendle, improvements were made for iOS 26, Android and merging accounts.
What is new
Section titled “What is new”-
iOS 26 compatibility. Sharing to Spendle had not always worked correctly since iOS 26. This has been resolved. The Spendle logo was displayed blurry on some devices — this is fixed with the new Glass icon.

Biometric login (Android X). On some Android devices, fingerprint or face recognition did not work correctly. This has been fixed.

Better stability. In some cases, local working files were not loaded correctly, requiring the app to be restarted. This has been resolved.

Merge accounts. Duplicate accounts can now be merged more easily. For example two accounts with almost the same number — such as an old account number that was later replaced by an IBAN. See Merge data for the steps.
Availability
Section titled “Availability”The web app update is available. Activate via Menu → Software update. The Android and iOS apps were submitted to the app stores on 26 October 2025 and will update automatically within a few days.
