June 2026 release
The June release brings Spendle in German and expands the transactions screen, the date filters, the reports and the action rules. A large part of these improvements comes directly from the ideas box — suggestions from users.
Spendle in German
Section titled “Spendle in German”Spendle is now available in German. The interface language can be set to Dutch, English or German; the website and support centre are available in German too.
Totals overview in the transactions screen
Section titled “Totals overview in the transactions screen”On a wide screen, the top right of the transactions screen shows a total: the number of rows and the sum of the current view. When rows are selected, the count and sum reflect the selection. Clicking the total opens the selection summary. The overview can be turned on or off in the Settings screen.
New date filters
Section titled “New date filters”The date picker has three new periods:
- Year to date (YTD) — shows
2026 YTD; the arrows step back to2025 YTD,2024 YTD, and so on. - Last 12 months — a rolling twelve-month window.
- This week — Monday to Sunday; navigable per week.
The period list is now scrollable on smaller screens.
Cash flow forecast report
Section titled “Cash flow forecast report”The cash flow report now has a budget-based forecast. Alongside the actual figures per month or year, the forecast variants show an expectation based on the configured budgets — actual months in black, forecast months in grey. The grouping can be set, expanded and sorted. See Cash flow forecast.
Action rule: counter account
Section titled “Action rule: counter account”An action rule can now also match on the counter account (the other party’s IBAN), in addition to description and memo. See Action rules.
Help button is configurable
Section titled “Help button is configurable”The help button in the top bar can be turned on or off in the Settings screen.
- In Sum up, transactions with a book account or split rows are no longer counted twice in the total.
- Various smaller bug fixes and improvements have also been made.
Availability
Section titled “Availability”The features are available in the web app from June 2026. Activate via Menu → Software update. The Android and iOS apps will follow later.
