Geldgids Consumentenbond recommends Spendle
In the Geldgids of April/May 2025, the Consumentenbond reviewed a number of digital budgeting apps: Dyme, Spendee, Grassfeld, MijnGeldzaken and Spendle.
What the Geldgids mentions

Privacy — data stays on the user’s own device by default. When synchronisation is used, data is encrypted and additionally protected with a password known only to the user.
Budget creation — the Geldgids describes how Spendle derives a budget proposal from past spending. The proposed amount can be added as a monthly budget in one click.
Data storage — all data stays within the European Union. No storage outside the EU is used.
